About Dermaheal HL

Dermaheal HL is the hair and scalp solution in the Dermaheal mesotherapy line. The other Dermaheal products we supply are made for the face; HL is made for scalp-focused treatments, and clinics use it in protocols for clients whose hair looks thin, weak or stressed. It is a professional product for the treatment room, not a take-home tonic.

Mesotherapy is the general name for clinic treatments in which a practitioner brings a specialised solution into the skin in small amounts, rather than leaving it on the surface as a lotion would. The method differs from one product to the next, so how Dermaheal HL is prepared and used, and by whom, is set by the manufacturer's leaflet together with the practitioner's training.

In the treatment room

HL lets a clinic that already sees hair and scalp clients offer a treatment of its own, rather than folding scalp care into a facial booking. Hair that looks thin can have many causes, so take a history and look at the scalp before suggesting a course, refer the client for medical advice where that is appropriate, and set realistic expectations at the first consultation.

Dermaheal HL is for professional use by trained practitioners and is supplied only to clinics and aesthetic professionals. It is used in clinic protocols as the manufacturer directs: the practitioner follows the leaflet and their own training for preparation, technique and aftercare, screens every client for allergies and relevant conditions beforehand, and stores the product as the leaflet sets out.
