Terms of Business
How we quote, approve, manufacture and invoice. The commercial detail for your project sits in your own quotation.

Quotations
Every quotation we issue is valid for 30 days from its date. After that, ingredient, packaging and printing costs may have moved, so we will reissue it rather than honour a stale figure.
A quotation covers the formats, quantities, packaging and finishes described in it. Changing any of those changes the price, and we will tell you before proceeding.
-
Orders and approvals
Production begins after you have approved the sample and the artwork in writing, and after the agreed advance has been received. We do not start a batch on a verbal approval, because a batch cannot be unmade.
Artwork approval is yours. Once you sign off a label or carton, the responsibility for spelling, claims, ingredient lists and statutory text on that artwork passes to you.
-
Minimum quantities and lead times
Minimum order quantities and lead times are those stated in your quotation. They vary by format, by packaging availability and by whether the formula is one of ours or newly developed for you.
Lead times run from written approval and receipt of the advance, not from the date of first enquiry. Where a component is imported, we will flag the risk to the timeline before you commit.
-
Samples
Samples are made to let you judge texture, fragrance, colour and packaging fit. A sample is representative, not a reserved batch: shade and fragrance can shift slightly between a laboratory sample and a production run, and we will tell you where that is likely.
-
Formulation and ownership
Formulas we already hold remain ours, and we may make them for other brands. Where we develop a new formula to your brief, ownership and any exclusivity are set out in your individual agreement — ask us for those terms in writing before development starts.
Briefs, artwork and commercial terms you share with us are treated as confidential, and we will sign a non-disclosure agreement on request.
-
Product claims and compliance
We manufacture to cosmetic standards and support you with PCSIR testing and the documentation a DRAP enlistment needs. What the finished product claims on its label, in your marketing and on your packaging is the brand owner's responsibility once it carries your name.
We will not print a claim we believe a cosmetic product cannot support, and we will say so at artwork stage rather than after the run.
-
Payment
Payment terms — the advance and the balance — are those stated in your quotation. Goods remain our property until payment has cleared in full.
-
Liability
Our liability for any order is limited to remaking or refunding the goods concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss such as lost sales or lost profit.

Questions
Ask before you commit, not after. Write to info@dermisdosis.com or call 0309 8805290. Our privacy policy explains what we do with the details you send, and how it works walks through the eight stages of a project.
