A collagen shot is a food supplement, not a medicine and not a cosmetic, and its claims have to stay within supplement wording. The nutrients carry the claims; collagen on its own is not promised to do anything.

• Workable: "vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of the skin"; "biotin supports normal hair and skin"; "1,000 mg collagen per shot"; "beauty from within".
• Not workable: "anti-ageing", "removes wrinkles", "whitening", "stops hair loss", before-and-after results, or a promise of what a customer will see in a set number of days.

The same rule decides your advertising. Instagram and Facebook reject supplement ads that promise visible results or comment on the viewer's body, so an ad written in supplement wording is also an ad that gets approved.

DRAP: how collagen shots are regulated in Pakistan

Food supplements and nutritional products are health and OTC products (non-drugs) under the DRAP Act 2012. They are enlisted with DRAP's Health & OTC Division before sale, which is a different route from a plain cosmetic.
