The Jessner Peel is a combination peel for professional use, built on the classic formula of three ingredients in equal parts: salicylic acid 14%, resorcinol 14% and lactic acid 14%. It comes in a 30 ml bottle and is used as a superficial peel.

Each ingredient brings something of its own. Salicylic acid is an oil-soluble beta hydroxy acid that works into oily areas and pores. Resorcinol is a phenol-related exfoliant. Lactic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid that loosens dead surface cells so that they shed more easily.
