The Diode 810 + Pico Laser puts two lasers in one system: an 810 nm diode laser for hair removal, and a pico handle for pigment and tattoo work. The diode side works on selective absorption. Light at 810 nm is taken up by the melanin in hair and follicles, and the heat that builds there reduces the follicle's ability to regrow hair across a course of sessions. The pico handle works on a different principle: it fires extremely short pulses that break tattoo ink and excess pigment into finer particles, which the body clears over time.
