About the Dr. Pen M8 Cartridges

Dr. Pen M8 Cartridges are replacement microneedling cartridges made for a single pen, the Dr. Pen M8. Microneedling creates many tiny, controlled channels in the surface of the skin, and the cartridge is the part that does it: it holds the needles, sits at the tip of the pen and is changed for every client. That is why it is bought as a consumable, not as a one-off accessory.

Four configurations are available: 1P, 12P, 36P and Nano. They differ in their pin arrangement, which changes how much skin each pass covers, and the Nano cartridge is a distinct option of its own. Many practitioners keep more than one type on hand so that small, detailed areas and broader areas of the face can each be worked with the configuration they prefer.

Every cartridge arrives in its own sealed pack, ready to open at the start of an appointment. In the treatment room

Handle every cartridge as single-use from start to finish. Check that the pack is sealed and undamaged, open it only when the client is ready, and put it in a sharps container at the end of the session. Clean and disinfect the pen body between clients according to the manufacturer's instructions, and leave microneedling to a trained practitioner who has assessed the skin first. For an M8 owner, running out of cartridges means cancelled bookings, so a small reserve of each configuration you use is sensible stock planning.
