About the Dr. Pen A10

The Dr. Pen A10 is a cordless microneedling pen with adjustable needle depth and adjustable speed. With no cable to manage, it moves freely around the face during a session, and the operator can change both how far the needles travel and how quickly they move to suit each area and each client's skin.

Microneedling passes a cluster of very fine needles in and out of the skin at speed, leaving tiny, controlled channels. The skin responds with its own repair process, which is why microneedling is used in treatments for skin texture, the look of enlarged pores and the look of acne scars. On pens of this type, the needles sit in a replaceable cartridge on the tip, so a fresh, sterile cartridge can be fitted for every client.

In the treatment room

Begin each session with a skin assessment, cleanse and prepare the area, and choose depth and speed for each zone rather than one setting for the whole face. Fit a new sealed cartridge for every client, wipe the pen body with a suitable disinfectant between appointments, and follow the manufacturer's instructions.
