About the Dr. Pen A6

The Dr. Pen A6 is a professional microneedling pen built around a dual-battery system. It runs wireless for free movement around the couch, or wired when you would rather keep it plugged in, and the dual-battery set-up means a session does not have to wait on a charge. For a practitioner with a full diary, that flexibility is the main reason to choose it.

The pen drives a cartridge of fine needles in and out of the skin's surface, leaving a pattern of tiny, controlled punctures that the skin then responds to as it repairs. Its adjustable needle settings let the practitioner set the pen for each area, and the ergonomic body supports precise, controlled passes. In the treatment room

The A6 earns its place in a clinic with back-to-back microneedling appointments, where there is little time to recharge between clients and a trailing cable can get in the way around the jaw and neck. Assess each client first, looking for active breakouts, infection or anything that affects healing. Fit a new sealed cartridge every time, keep the pen body clean and disinfected between appointments, and discard cartridges in a sharps container. Work to the manufacturer's instructions and your training when setting needle depth, taking extra care over thin skin.
