About the Dr. Pen A6S

The Dr. Pen A6S is a microneedling pen that runs wired or wireless, with a dual-battery system and adjustable speed and needle depth. It builds on the A6 design by adding adjustable speed, so the operator controls both how deep and how fast the needles work.

The practical benefit is uninterrupted work. With two batteries, one can charge while the other powers the pen, and on a long clinic day the pen can be plugged in and used on the cable. As a microneedling device, it makes fine, controlled channels in the skin that start its natural repair process, and it is used in treatments for skin texture, the look of fine lines and enlarged pores, and the look of acne scars.

Busy clinics and dermatology practices that run several microneedling appointments in a row, and cannot afford a flat battery mid-session, are who the A6S is built for. In the treatment room

The A6S belongs in the room that does the most microneedling. Keep one battery on charge through the day and the cable within reach as a fallback, and the pen is ready whenever the next client is. Every session starts with a skin assessment and consent, a clean and prepared skin surface, and a new sterile cartridge; used cartridges go straight into a sharps container. Wipe the body and the cable with a suitable disinfectant between clients, since both are handled throughout the treatment, and follow the manufacturer's instructions on depth and speed.
